你喜歡吃 roast beef 嗎？

roast 除了”烤”這個意思，比較口語的用法是”嚴厲批評、痛斥”的意思－give sb. a roasting(嚴厲指責某人)。”bake、grill”也有烤的意思，但 bake 較常用在烤（麵包），roasting tin則是”烤盤
”的意思。
